Announcements has been made by Pen Power Inc. on an update to its previous versions of WorldCard Mobile and WorldCard Contacts.
Popular downloads for the iPhone WorldCard Mobile and WorldCard Contacts apps for business card management has received been updated by Pen Power Inc. The updates support the iPhone OS4 and there has been significant improvement to it’s features. Some of the latest updates to the WorldCard Mobile are the automatic camera shake reduction and improved recognition ability, which already builds on its impressive accurate scanning capabilities.
The WorldCard Mobile updated version includes:
- Anti-shaking capability to capture an image without loosing the lens focus. (Digital caermas have a similar feature).
- e-Signature to copy electronic signature and add it to your iPhone contact lists
- Improvement in Optical Character Recognition to convert text in images to characters more accurately than in the earlier versions
WorldCard Contacts upgrades include:

- The user interface comes with multiple language support (English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch)

Business card information can be stored as contacts with the WorldCard Mobile app. This reduces the need to manually enter inputs from your business cards. The app uses improved optical character recognition technologies to convert the text in the business card to an iPhone contact. On the other side, WorldCard Contacts, an alternative to native iPhone contacts, performs great functions that are not available with iPhone contacts.
