Apple iOS 6 Rumoured to be Unveiled at WWDC 2012

At this years annual Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple fans are hoping to hear details about the new iPhone 5 OS as well as a range of other new services from Apple.

Queues for the conference in California have extended around the block since the early hours of Monday morning.

WWDC 2012 will be the first keynote speech to be delivered by Apple CEO Tim Cook since receiving the post after the passing of Steve Jobs.

Apple lovers are expecting the new iOS6 to be revealed as ‘the world’s most advanced operating system.’

The new iOS is expected to be used on Apple’s new iPhone 5, which is also expected to be revealed at the conference.

However despite the speculation about the new hardware, Apple have placed an emphasis on revealing its new software, such as a new 3D mapping service to rival Google Maps.

Reports of Apple using spy planes to map 20 cities in its new detailed mapping system, which will be able to zoom in on objects on the ground just four inches wide.

Mountain Lion for a new range of Macbooks and a new retina display is also expected to be revealed at WWDC 2012.
