Bulletstorm PC Review

This is another first-person action packed sensation from Electronic Arts.  The game was developed by Epic Games and People Can Fly and honestly speaking it was a well done job.  The games is quite enjoyable to play and quite entertaining with crass humour and a new sense of style. The developers went further to make the game award points for performing creative and ludicrous take outs on enemies.

The setting is in the 26th century where all planets have formed the Confederation of Planets which runs the universe.  The game majorly revolves around the activities that took place on the planet Stygia. Stygia was once as favourite resort destination until the population mutated in some type of zombies and carnivorous plants.

The Dead Echo team headed by Grayson Hunt under the command of Star General Saranno, is sent in to assassinate a suspected criminal Bryce Novak who in fact turns out to be just a civilian reports documenting on the activities of Dead Echo. The team Grayson heads realise they have been deceived in to carrying out criminal activities for the General and there go against him. It however takes ten years for Grayson and his team to finally get a chance at Saranno’s head when Grayson rams his battleship in to that of Saranno and they crash on to the planet Stygia where one of Grayson’s men, Ishi is badly wounded is later turned in to a cyborg.

Saranno however is captured by one of the mutated feral tribes and Grayson and his man Ishi have to find him. They then come across Trishka the daughter of Bryce Novak who is after her father’s killer. She promises to work with Grayson only the condition that they rescue Saranno first before finding a way out of the ill-fated planet. They go through many challenges to get to Saranno who they rescue but again deceives Grayson and Ishi again in activating an inert bomb that will destroy the planet.
